RDAC
(Remote Data Aquisition Computer)

MGL Avionics EFIS system use a remote engine monitoring solution to simplify installation, improve flexibility and allow an upgrade path without affecting the EFIS system.

These engine monitoring units are called "RDACs" in MGL-speak. Several models are available to suit your requirements.

RDAC VD and RDAC VT

Our "baby" RDACs are small, low cost and suitable for a large variety of smaller two and four stroke engines. The RDAC VT is intended for turbine engines.

Note: These RDACs are not suitable for use with iEFIS. They can be used with the Xtreme or older products.

RDAC XF and RDAC XF MAP

Replacing the long running RDAC XB, XD and XE versions, the XF packs the well proven engine monitor into a new packags and gives it more flexibility, functions and options.

RDAC CAN 912iS

RDAC interface for direct connection to CAN bus based ECU systems. This version is intended for the Rotax 912iS engine. It also provides two fuel level inputs, a fuel pressure sender input for electronic pressure senders such as the popular types from UMA and a further input for the comnnection of a current monitoring system such as MGL's magnetic current sensor.

RDAC CAN MWB22

RDAC interface for direct connection to CAN bus based ECU systems. This version is intended for the MW B22 engine. It also provides two fuel level inputs, oil pressure sender input, two NTC sender inputs for the MW engine water temperature senders and a further input for the comnnection of a current monitoring system such as MGL's magnetic current sensor. It also provides for a fuel flow sender input and can accept both standard flow senders as well as provide flow derived from injector pulse monitoring.
