Re: Database update missing frequencies?
The navidata.ewd file contains airport and obstacles information not maps. If you are trying to make map files you need to use MapMaker2.
Re: Database update missing frequencies?
I see map options so I expect to see the map loaded and overlay Navidata.ewd on the top...
All I see is dark blue on the bottom and light blue on the top.
Trying importing FAA Data - nothing changes on the screen
Finally I found how to import Obstacle Source (in the Table editor) which was not straight forward...
I'm not sure if what is compiled is what it supposed to be...

Re: Database update missing frequencies?
I believe there are instructions in the pdf file for importing google maps and georeferencing them. The navidata comes from the database tables. If you are trying to add maps to the Gen3 I would use Mapmaker2.
Re: Database update missing frequencies?
I wanted to load maps only as a reference.
Main goal is to compile Navidata.ewd for US and Canada.
Is this a reasonable order of import:
Latest FAA data
Add latest obstacle FAA data
In case if frequencies are missing - add frequencies from navaid.com
Add Canadian data (I guess) from navaid.com (unless someone can recommend better source)
Questions:
Are frequencies still missing in the latest FAA data (CIFP 210128)?
If missing - are all of them missing or only some data is missing?
Should I add frequencies only from navaid.com for US and than add entire extract for Canada?

Re: Database update missing frequencies?
Ok, here is my update(s):
Latest Navidata.ewd still doesn't have frequencies
Latest FAACIFP18_2101.ari doesn't have frequencies
I was able to follow the advice and compile the US data with frequencies and obstacles
I was able to add Canadian data on the top - Pretty much followed the sequence of steps above.
