Re: Bitching Betty is a bit Slow!

Thanks Jim

It's always done it, even between updates.

I'll give it a go and see what happens.

Re: Bitching Betty is a bit Slow!

Jim

Haven't seen anything like that in the menu system unfortunately.

It seems to be mainly a/p and oil pressure that i notice, traffic alerts seem pretty good.

Bitching Betty is a bit Slow!

Hi all

Explorer Lite
Dual v16
SP7
SP6
Extender
A16

The iefis audio alerts don't seem to be sending when they should, sometimes notified of something that happened minutes before. (Such as A/P disconnected).

It's always been like that and wanted some feedback on whether others have the issue.

Re: iEFIS engine data log ground run

I'm pretty sure you can start a flight manually, can't remember where in the menu it is though.

Re: EFIS Audio On/Off function

I have never been able to get it to work, every time i enable it in the settings i lose all audio, no matter what switching i use.

I have the A16 now so don't have the need for it anymore.

Re: Autopilot Left of Track Issue

I'm convinced it is a vibration issue, particularly with the lite versions. I had the same thing until I added an SP7, flies straight down the hits now

Re: A/P Pitch Servo failure

JimJab Thanks for the reply, I had the same antenna that you have behind the sound curtain and binned it for the one I have now, just couldn't get it to work well enough. I think I have fixed the issue with the Servo by re-routing the wiring and adding some ferrites. It has been behaving itself ever...

Re: A/P Pitch Servo failure

I haven't had a chance to check the outcome, but have added some clip on ferrites in various locations, as advised elsewhere.

I'll let you know the outcome.

A/P Pitch Servo failure

Hi all I have a jabiru with 2 axis A/P that works a treat, until I broadcast on my second comm. The antenna for this comm utilises crossed copper tape on the floor of the fuselage which continues around the Pitch Servo. The servo is effectively inside the ground plane, bit not electrically connected...
