odd red X from corner on EMS Xtreme

odd red X from corner on EMS Xtreme
Am flying a SeaRey LSX with a Hirth 3703. Installed an RDAC VD connected to EMS Xtreme. All has worked fine for 100 hrs+. Now I on occasion I get a thin lined big red X from corner to corner on the EMS. I think I can see the engine parameters in the background and they continue to report. The event lasts 2 to 10 seconds. It can happen on taxi or in flight. I have checked all connections and have not yet found any loose ones. Any Idea what might be causing this? Thanks. Rick
