Razor updater not working

I cannot seem to get the firmware update program to work.
I have the serial ports configured correctly and I can see the "OK<cr>" being sent by the Razor with an oscilloscope probing the TX1 line while connected to the PC. But I do not see any response form the updater. I've verified the serial connection with TeraTerm and also see "OK" from the Razor. I have also tried connecting two PCs together with one running TeraTerm and the other running the updater. I type OK<cr> in TeraTerm to emulate the Razor and get no response from the updater.

I'm running Windows 10 with a Prolific USB to serial adapter. I'm running the Razor VHF 080720 updater.

Any suggestions?

Update: Michigan Avionics suggested running a virtual comm port program in between the physical USB comm port and the updater app. That did work.
