I purchased my Odyssey 2 about 2012 because I thought I would be finished with my airplane much earlier than I did. Now I am doing phase 1 testing and a number of issues have popped up. Never used the EFIS until now but no longer under warranty. The Odyssey 2 keeps alerting the unit is overheating. If acknowledged, it comes back on. Second problem is the heading tape is stuck on 048. Doesn’t change. Anyone else have either of these or similar problem. Any help greatly appreciated.

Call Adam at Midwest Avionics. This sounds like a setup problem? I know Rainier could help also but that does not appear to have happened?
