I've been interested in the N16 nav radio + Vega head combination for quite some time now, but it seems to always be listed as backorder only. Could you share any information on expected availability? It seems like a great, unique option in the nav radio market. Thanks!

Not sure where you are looking for it but it has been shipping for over a year now.
There are no current shortages - the only (small) break in availability was a few months ago as there was a small holdup for production of a batch due to a component shortage.

It's slightly confusing, as for the N16 it says "In stock, can be backordered" and the Vega head says "Available on backorder". I had asked Michigan Avionics about it by email, but they said they had no information on availability, as of August. I'll check with them again. Thank you.

Just checked - no shortage on N16 units as of this time. We have had no supply issues on these items for a couple of months now.
