Forum collapse

Post by gd5362 »

You may be like I am in that I religiously read anything Ranier has to say.
I am in the habit of saving anything of interest, usually to iPhone notes. I remember very well the last forum collapse and the years of problem solving advice from him and others that was lost forever.

Not sure where this post originates from.

The forum was down for about 5 hours on Wednesday as I had to upgrade the forum software. This was necessitated by our hosting company changing security settings that affected my ability to weed out the many spam attacks on this forum.
The upgrade went smoothly and it does not look like any posts where lost. Two remaining small non-critical issues where fixed on Thursday morning.

I had a Random thought Ranier, there was a forum that we used years ago that suffered some kind of failure and all the posts were lost.
