USB Com Port Extender

Since the Com Port Extended is no longer available, I would like to purchase a different USB-Serial Port Extender for my Odyssey. I see that there are several available. Does anyone know which chipset was used in the MGL Com Port Extender? Maybe the FTDI chipset?

There is no replacement for the COM port extender. It's not your standard USB to serial converter at all.
