GPS-NMEA 4800 via RS232
I see the other post about this but I'm still not able to get a GPS signal to my ELT and Matt at MGL is MIA. I have an ARTEX ELT 354 that was just programed to NMEA at 4800 baud rate because I was told that's what I needed. I have the ELT GPS Nav data wire connected to my Extender on port RS232 #5. I have the #5 port on the EFIS set to GPS NMEA port and GPS operations to NMEA GPS at 4800 baud. I'm still not getting a signal to my ELT according to the ELT test.
