What's the software version on your iEFIS?
I don't think I've seen that option on mine. So one of us is out-of-date (but I'm not changing mine, as the latest update seems to be cocking everyone's systems up).

Re: iefis extender
Sorry, you're absolutely right with a regular iEFIS. I have the Lite.....pretty obviously ;) I suppose the first port of call would be to see if anything else that is plugged into the iBox is showing up on the iEFIS. If it's not then I would suspect the connecting cable between the two. If the iBox ...

(a)Turn off Caps Lock. There's no need to shout.
(b)Why have you connected your Extender to the CAN bus? It should be connected to your EFIS via RS232.

Re: aux audio
Just the Aux, you lucky beggar Every time I switch my system back on I have to go back into my settings and reset my intercom squelch, intercom volume, Aux volume, mute option and, most times, the frequencies. The EFIS does have a ‘keep alive’ wire and I have changed the internal battery.

Re: MX1 - Why and Why not? Share your insights
In my opinion the maps are not good enough to have a whole EFIS to themselves. In fact they are so lacklustre that I rarely even look at a map page. They are semi-okay for seeing where a route goes and to check the autopilot is following the route but not good enough for navigation. The presentation...

Re: Big issue with MGL SERVO
Is the spindle able to move if you remove the rod? Could the grub screw have come out so the spindle is moving and the arm is not? What LED indications are you getting?

Re: Big issue with MGL SERVO
This will be almost certainly because the servo arm position moves 'through zero'. It's a top secret problem and is deliberately set to keep you guessing, that's why it's not mentioned in any of the books. The old forum had some information on it but that was useful (like the screen designing thread...

Re: Xtreme Snags
Thanks again Stuart. We'll try out your suggestion for testing and hope to prove what is or is not working properly. I do agree with your logic for the sensor press versus what we'd expect but we were told very specifically to get the N1EU07D because of the installation on a Rotax 914. I'll look at ...

Re: Xtreme Snags
We did as suggested and had success with the oil pressure (with the resistor) but the fuel pressure is still foxing us. The UMA pressure sender is definitely sending a voltage. With the pumps turned off we'll get anywhere from 0.2v - 0.99. When the pumps are turned on we'll get 2.55v. SO we know the...
