Hi,
I'm configuring the RDAC unit now for tach input and I came across this post.
"Using the p-leads is also possible but yo should take care with this - the p-leads can produce voltages up to several hundred volts and that can damage things. It helps to have a scope to see what this signal looks ...

EMS-1 Analogue Input Pressure units
Hi,
I'm using a EMS-1 with an RDAC XG and I want to use one of the analogue inputs with a 0.5-4.5v 1 bar absolute transducer. I'd like to display it in "hg but the menu only gives me psi/bar.
Is it possible to display in "hg ?
I've upgraded to the latest firmware.
Thanks
Paul

Re: Vega EMS-1 with rdac xg
I have found the definition for local/rdac data source, now I can’t work out how you map analogue 1/2 ect to a specific source in the rdac, ie analogue 1 to aux1. Ems1 Analogue 2 to rdac xg fuel p For the thermocouples it’s a predetermined mapping. I’ll try reading the manual again….
Thanks

Vega EMS-1 with rdac xg
I have just added an rdac xg to my ems-1 setup, 4x egt 4x cht, oil p, oil t, fuel p, carb temp. The cht and egt are working. I can’t find in the menus how to display / setup the rdac analogue signals. The original 4 analogue channels don’t have rdac assignments.
Am I missing something?
Thanks
