Re: MX1 Nearest Airports Function
Sorry for the slow reply, I haven’t looked at the forums much lately. Using the PocketFMS data is the best solution I’ve figured out, but I’ve haven’t unable to improve anything further. One thing to consider is whether the 3D view uses gps or magnetic heading - one or the other might draw things cl...

Re: Audio Warning / Annunciator
Bumping for visibility. I have the same problem on my MX1. It had sort of worked for a bit, like it might say “Waypoint Arrival,” but I’m not sure it does that anymore. When I shut the engine off I get my low RPM and low oil pressure annunciation, and the MX1 audio says “Available, low oil pressure....

SP12 / MX1 GPS issue
I have an interesting and inconvenient issue where my MX1 internal GPS and SP12 do not agree. I think this is the source of a few problems, probably the most important of which is that my ADSB broadcasts an incorrect altitude. Not sure what points are the most valuable for troubleshooting, so I'll j...

Re: MX1 Audio to V16
I can maybe write a more detailed answer later but for now check this thread and see if it has any helpful info. I suspect it might.

Re: MX1 Survey: Does your map work?
1. Can you display navigational data on your map? If yes, what is displayed? If not, and you enter into PAN mode, are they displayed then? I can display the raster map as a base, and I can display airspace borders. When I enter PAN mode, I can display all available data but cannot interact with it. ...

MX1 Survey: Does your map work?
Disclaimer: I like MGL, I think the products are innovative, and my experience with Michigan Avionics has been great. It is my hope that we can gather some data here that can be presented to MGL to help in identifying/fixing an issue. Please keep this thread limited to just this issue. Thanks. I hav...

Re: iEFIS Discovery Lite temporarily unavailable
Could this new “MX2” be a drop in replacement for an MX1 without installing any other components?

Re: MX1 Nearest Airports Function
Bumping to update and for visibility. With the newest firmware, the problem persists as described above. The PocketFMS data is an 80% solution. You can use the navigational tools as intended and the 2D navigation works on the charts, but the HITS in the 3D view points in the wrong direction and airp...

Re: MGL iEfis lite and Accelerometer readings
@LaneRM , Did you use the panel designer software to remove the G-meter? One thing I thought about is how to configure the G-Meter Arc visibility. Now it seems that it is activated at 1.5G, I was thinking of changing the value when it gets visible to, say, 2G instead. However I could not find that ...

Re: MGL iEfis lite and Accelerometer readings
I have an MX1 and it does the same thing. I couldn't fix it, so I removed the G-Meter and slip/skid from the screen. I think it's encouraging from a builder standpoint that we are having similar issues rather than me just doing a bad install. I also have a wildly inaccurate and unstable density alti...
