Re: Ecb
Hi I think you misunderstood. I am not using the ribbon cable at all. I put folded aluminum foil under the crimp connector for the ribbon cable so it would short out all the pins. I also want to use the ECB as a regular breaker. When I say switched I mean I came of the breaker and go to a manual on/...

Ecb
I just installed an ECB. I bridged the switch cable connections because I want to use only the Efis to control the ecb. I got 7 of the breakers to work. All those 7 go to switches that turn on landing lights, nav lights , strobes etc. Breaker no 1 goes to a bus bar then to the efis, ibox, rdacs and ...

What does the Engine Horsepower Calculation do? And how do I use it? Does it display percent HP on the screen or what.

HP calculation
Do you have to have a MAP sensor to set up the HP calculations in the Iefis. Challenger 10.4. I'm trying to figure out how to use the HP and lop rop functions. I have fuel injected io360 engine. Didn't think I needed a MAP sensor so I didn't get the rdac with MAP.

Re: Autopilot remote activation
Yes I do have it connected to D1. I thought that was for digital. I have a hard time deciphering the instructions. There is so many different documents to search through. This has been a uphill battle from the start. But I am making progress just not as fast as I would like. I will move my 12volt in...

Autopilot remote activation
Need some help here. I have exhausted all my brain cells. I have a Challenger Efis. I have MGL autopilot. I can engage it from the Efis but not from the remote switch on the stick. I have run 12 volts through the switch to the Digital 1 input on the Ibox and set the Efis to active level is high/curr...

Re: GPS Xed out
drvale I'm going to move the antenna and see if that's the problem. I don't think it is, but that will eliminate that. This is getting very frustrating trying to figure this thing out. Ok update. I moved the antenna outside the aircraft. No change. I put it back and made sure its grounded with the m...

Re: GPS Xed out
I'm thinking my GPS antenna must be bad? I mean there is only the cable to onto the Ibox, right. What could be wrong? Its not picking up any satellites. What else could it be. Is there a way to test the antenna?
