G-Force Meter Reset

Post by Bill Hertzel »

When the G-Forces are reset, the MAX is reset to 1.0 as expected, but the MIN is reset to 0.0.
This causes the MIN to only register Negative G's and never register any positive values below +1.0.
Negative G's in an Autogyro is a non-recoverable Fatal event.
Getting light in the seat and especially lighter than +0.5G is to be avoided.
It would be helpful if the range between 0.0 and +0.9G could be registered.
Initializing both the MIN and MAX at +1.0G at reset would be more useful.
