MX1 AOA Problem

Post by technerdian »

Hi All,

Has anyone got the AOA working on an iEFIS MX1?

I have performed the calibration but can't get it to work and selection of the AOA diagnostics screen is causing a reboot. Has anyone seen this or in fact (MX1 being relatively new) has anyone successfully used AOA on an MX1?

Thanks,

Gareth.

I too have not been able move past the ‘calibration’ step. I do the calibration , but the data is not saved. In the AoA diagnostics its clear the AoA pitot pressure is being capture as the raw data goes up and down as you’d expect. Seems to me a software issue...its not converting the raw data to compare to static and pitot pressures and hence all AoA values remain at zero.

I’m not sure this is the same problem you have, but if I press the ‘enable AoA calibration’ selection it ejects me from the settings.

Grateful if anyone has any suggested fixes????

Cheers, Mark
