Servo torque indicator

Post by sparxfly »

I have developed servo torque indicator that monitors a selected servo channel on the CANbus and displays the magnitude and direction of torque on a bargraph display.
The idea is to mount it alongside the relevant trim indicator so it guides the pilot to tweak trim and reduce/remove servo load.
Intended mainly for use with the Xtreme autopilot, as unlike the larger iEFIS systems it doesn't have a trim prompt pop-up display.
User Guide is here.
Intro video is here.
Version 2 pcb will be about half the width of the prototype.
Enquiries/comments/suggestions welcome.
