Odyssey G2 - Nav Auto Sequence Issue

Hi,

I have an Odyssey G2 with a bad habit of auto sequencing any route to the end of the route with a few minutes of activating the route (on the ground I por in flight). I can’t seem to stop this behaviour. Yes, I have turned of auto sequence but that didn’t change the behaviour. The efis is just in a mad hurry to get to the destination. Any thoughts on what or why this is happening greatly appreciated.

Also please check your autopilot settings even if you are not using an autopilot.
In particular it looks at your desired maximum bank angle. It uses that to work out when to turn towards the next route leg given your current speed. If that number happens to be very low or zero it needs a really big radius. Also it assumes that at the start of the turn you are at the waypoint.

Normal bank angles are about 20 or 30 degrees for this.

Thanks Rainier,

I found the target rate of turn was set to 0. Adjusted it to 3 deg/sec and this pears to have fixed the problem. Would just sit on the next point and not race to the end of the route.
