Flap control switch option for SP-10

Is it possible to use the SP-10 to control the flaps using an ON-OFF-(ON) switch? I would like to operate the flaps with progressive short blips down, but just full up going the other way. The idea is one operation to full up for going around instead of holding the switch for long enough.
This seems possible according to the manual for operation via two switches, but it is not clear whether or not leaving the switch ON for full up (as opposed to long blip to full up) will damage the SP-10?
