Hi!!
I have a problem with my V16 radio. I have it connected to a vega 2.25 and it works perfectly, but on the display on EFISE (challenger Lite) I get a red cross over the radio display. Where is the problem and is it possible to get rid of the Red Cross?

Re: V16 red cross
This means your RS232 connection between the V16 RS232 port 1 and whatever port you are using for this is not working. Make sure RX->TX and TX->RX.
The most common mistake here in my experience is to connect the two TX lines together and the two RX lines.
In addition, make sure you have select the MGL Radio as COM1 in your serial port setup and routing menu.
Also make sure that you are running a fairly recent version of the EFIS firmware - versions before the V16 was released do not know how to talk to the V16 and will show a red cross.
