Fuel flow variation

Post by MikeBlackburn »

Starting to get some dicky fuel flow indications.....

Presume this is most likely a loose connection/grounding issue - has worked perfectly for years.. Initially saw zero fuel flow and then a slow increase after some time, but the other day, the fuel flow didn't decrease with throttle reduction - ie it lagged behind.
Anyone know if this is indicative of a loose connection/ground fault or is it a failure mode of the sensor? It's somewhat disconcerting to see zero fuel flow and of course it plays havoc with the totaliser......
