In your case it means - your Trig is using the GPS from the EFIS, the GPS is fine but does not have a current fix (check your GPS antenna).
It also means that there is seemingly no SP-12 GPS module connected (the second set of status indicators reads "--").

"......the GPS is fine but does not have a current fix," does not agree with what is written in the manual, which says: "The first “RF” is for the EFIS. It means the transponder interface is receiving GPS information from the EFIS and this GPS has a valid FIX".

Sorry yes - you are correct. "NF" would be no fix.
