MGL iEFIS G3 - Sudden Altimeter Discrepancies.

Post by noxzealo »

Experiencing some weird issues with my iEFIS G3 altimeter lately. It seems to be showing significant discrepancies compared to my analog altimeter and GPS altitude, especially during descent. Has anyone else encountered this? I've calibrated it multiple times using the barometric setting, and the issue persists. I've checked the pitot-static system for leaks and obstructions, and everything seems clear. Could this be a faulty pressure sensor in the iEFIS unit? Any suggestions on troubleshooting steps or known issues would be greatly appreciated. Perhaps a firmware update would resolve the problem? I am currently on the latest version, but maybe I should try reinstalling it? Thanks in advance for any help!.
