I have a V16 with a Vega 2 1/4 that is not connected to the iEFIS.
Only tested on the ground up to now
Reception is crystal clear
When performing radio check Tower rates quality as between 3 and 4 with line of sight to Tower
Transmit is 9 to 10 Watts and SVWR is 1.2
Any suggestions on what I can do to improve transmit quality, I am not sure what factors or settings other than antenna affect transmission
Thanks
Mike

Re: V16 Transmit Quality
Have you adjusted the microphone gains for your headset(s).
I found that it needed significant attenuation of -12dB or more for A20 and Zulu 2.
Without doing that receivers will hear significant compression/limiting and possibly distortion.

Thank you very much, that solved the problem.
Set the MIC Gain to -10 and Tower reports quality as 5
Appreciate the help
