ODYSSEY G2 VIDEO IN

Post by garyguinn »

Hello,
I am trying to setup up a couple of "video in" cameras
to verify my front and rear gear positions.

I don't anything in documentation relating to video in..
I have Odyssey gen2.....obviously with the video in dsub connector on the back.
I'm tied into pin 1 of signal and pin 6 for the ground...

hit the DSP button, then source...
response is "video is OFF"

Adam is working on this as well. thought I would see if anyone has had
success with this..... I do see documentation for the newer IEFIS that covers video in
a bit more in depth. but nothing for Odyssey that I can find.

by the way, if it makes a difference.
my serial number for main display is OD1007 00655

UPDATE...Found this online:
The other major component of the Generation 2 upgrade is the inclusion of external Video Inputs and Outputs. The Output sends the screen image to an external VGA display so that builders of tandem aircraft, for example, can put a repeater screen in the passenger instrument panel for just the cost of an aftermarket VGA LCD screen. And, there are 4 External Video Inputs added, so that pilots can connect external cameras for display on the screen, such as taxi-cameras for taildraggers, or FLIR sensors.

thank you,
Gary
