are these two plugs where the auto pilot servos goes into?
they are in the top, left of center when looking at the back

They are serial data ports so any servo would need to be RS232 equipped. What type of servo are you connecting??

No.
If you want to connect Trio servos which are the only ones we control via RS232 you need a COM Extender.
If you are using MGL servos you need the CAN bus. Have a look at the servo and AP manuals.
