Hi. How complicated is it to upgrade my Safari's V6 panel mounted radio to a V16 with Vega Control Head? Specifically regarding wiring as there is not much slack behind the panel. Aircraft has iEfis Challenger with iBox setup and was constructed by Stefan at KFA in 2017.
Tips & suggestions highly appreciated.

There is not much similarity here - if you are hoping for a plug and play - that's not going to happen.
You would have to disconnect the wires from the V6 plug and solder them into the relevant positions on the V16 plug. Since currently the wires have to go to the back of the radio in the panel they should be long enough as you can now mount the V16 radio itself just about anywhere.
The Vega head fits in the hole left by the V6 - you only need a total of 4 wires for this one - Power and ground and the two CAN bus wires to the V16.
