RPM2 Sensativity adjustment

On the RPM2 there are two sensitivity set screws on the back of the unit, one for Rotor and one for Engine. My engine tachometer display jumps around at high RPMs from 105% down to 40%. Will adjusting the set screw fix this issue? How much do I turn it, and which way? Anybody know? The documentation is not helpful.
