Before opening it, do you know a commercial ref for MGL E3 114x94 pixels LCD 2.25" (57mm)?
No much hope but really don't want to upgrade...

Hi I am sorry - these were display modules custom made for us so they are not available on the open market. There were two or three different versions made over the years based on the availability of a chip that goes into it. Eventually it was no longer possible to produce these displays due to unavailability of these chips. At that time we then switched to color as it was getting difficult to find a company interested to continue making monochrome displays like this. Stocks of spares have also dried up by now.
So we are now stuck on the color displays - but they are very nice and very readable and a worthwhile upgrade.
