Help Needed and Issues installing a Blase-4

Hi All,
I have a fellow Aviator who has just purchased a Blaze AHRS-4.
He installed it in his Jabiru 430 the other day and sadly found the Blaze did not performed straight out of the box as he had hoped.
It's always easier to ask for help, so if someone can help him with the calibration setting need to use for the Blaze-4 in a Jabiru we would be very appreciative.
The Blaze-4 unit after being installed on it first flight was very slow to react to any change in aircraft attitude and the same with the skid ball being slow to move. The aircraft is still fitted with a steam turn bank /skid ball unit, so Blaze-4 movement could be judged against this unit speed as well.
The Base-4 also froze in flight and needed to be rebooted by turning off and on the avionics master switch. This unit require Ferrites??
Any help with the Blaze-4 setting and it's freeing issue would really be appreciated.
