Hi
Any advice appreciated
System: vega FF4 and UMA N1EU100G(M) on Rotax 914. For fuel pressure indication only.
Has worked fine for several years.
The fuel pressure indication has stopped reading and a Red Cross shows across the instrument.
I understand that this means communication has been lost between the instrument and the sender.
I’ve measured the voltages at the sender and it has good 12v supply and ground.
The signal wire puts out 0.2 volts with fuel pumps off and 0.4 volts with fuel pumps on.
Is that indicating that the sender is faulty? ( as it should give out 0.5 volts or above on the signal wire)
Thanks
Martin

Re: Fuel Pressure indication fail
That output voltage is a little low. It does look like that sender is no longer working. Voltage should be around 2.5V for mid range pressure.
