EMS-2 mapping to RDAC

Post by Pilotgil »

Is there a document that shows how the EMS-2 maps to the RDAC?

For example, I can't figure out how to get the "COOL" input on the RDAC to map to a displayed area on the EMS-2.

Here are my sensors I want to display and my current setup:

4 EGT (K) Input: TC1-4
2 CHT (J) Input: TC5-6
Current (0-5V, 2.5V = Zero current) Input: CURR
Oil Pressure (4-20 mA) Input: OILP
Oil Temperature (resistive) Input: OILT
Coolant Pressure (0-5V) No connection
Coolant Temperature (resistive) Input: AUX1
Fuel Level (resistive) Input: FL1
Fuel Pressure (0-5 V) No connection

What would be great is if under the DATA label in the EMS, when RDAC is selected, a submenu would allow you to select what pin (within reason) on the RDAC the data comes from. It's not really clear how the EMS is attaching what pin to a data field.

So, from my list above how do I configure the EMS-2 to display my sensors even those that currently have no connection? What do I have to change?

Any help would be great.

It's in the EMS-2 manual. There is a section named "RDAC Connection" near the end of the manual that has a small table that explains everything.
