Odyssey G2 system - slip-skid display not changing

I have an older Odyssey that was upgraded to G2 level several years ago. Only 100 hours on so far, but all was working well until the slip-skid ball no longer moves in response to yaw inputs. I have an SP-4 AHRS sensor and it seems like it is working ok for pitch and roll, but not yaw. I checked wiring and it is good for connections. The SP-4 red light comes on when powered up and then starts blinking rapidly. I understand that means the sensor is receiving power and communicating with the EFIS. Since pitch and roll appear to function correctly I am wonder if the sensor is bad or something else is wrong in the EFIS or a setup parameter. I have not been able to locate another SP-4 ( used since they are long out of production ) to try. I understand that the SP-7 may work , but hate to spend $700 USD and then find out that won't work or fix the problem.
Any suggestions on testing or checking out the system to confirm the problem ?

I realize this is a very old system ( I bought new in 2007 way before I was ready to install it in the RV I was building. It's an awesome EFIS with so much capability and I am still learning it. It does everything the newer EFIS's now do except for a touch screen (which I don't care about).

Thanks in advance,
Russ

You have not by any chance switched your EFIS by accident to use the GPS as AHRS source ? You do that in the 3D setup menu.
If this is the case it can compute bank and pitch angles quite well from your flight path in three dimensions but cannot do the same for your slip indicator - there is no substitute for an accelerometer sensor here.

Rainier,

Your advice was spot on ! I changed that setting back and now the yaw indicator works fine.

Thank you so much for taking the time to answer my question.

I'm still learning how to use some of the many capabilities on your wondrous Odyssey. You were far ahead of the others back then. For now it does everything I will need for the foreseeable future.

Best regards,
