is it possible to send a GPS-NMEA 0183 via RS232.

System:
IEFIS Lite with Extender

In theory, by using ...
Menu>System Setup>Serial Port Routing
You can define a serial port as a "GPS NEMA Port"
I have tried to use this to send location data to my ELT but have not been successful.
I would also like to know if anyone has made this work.

Make sure you select the correct baudrate to be compatible with your ELT. You do this in your GPS and NMEA setup menu. The NMEA feed contains all required messages.

I am pretty sure I matched the baud rates, but I'll Check it again.
