I have an Explorer 8' EFIS and the touch screen is acting weird. It only works when you push about 1" to the left of the button. When using the keyboard, some buttons work fine, others you need to push 1" to the left, or the other letter buttons do not work at all.
I looked in the manual and searched the forum and don't seem to find this problem documented.
Any ideas, or would the screen need to be sent in for repair?
Thanks,
Mike Schoenneman

Re: Touch Screen Not Working Right
Do you know the age of your screen? Older Explorers that use Resistive touch screens have a calibration feature. Newer screens utilize a capacitive digitizer and do not have a calibration. Be sure your software is up to date too.
