As I recall when in 3D view relevant high terrain showed in red. I can’t find the setting to activate it. My terrain just shows in the color selected in the 3D menu but not in red. Any help would be appreciated. Another question I have is with vector maps is there a way to show high terrain, eg mountains in brown, low terrain in green?

Check your setting under Menu > System Setup > Terrain Warning.
This only works if the GPS is ON and actively Tracking Satellites.
So, it may not work inside a hanger.
