Discovery lite and skyecho adsb display

Using the Microkits wifi gateway connection, is it really that simple to display ADSB traffic on the discovery lite screen with the Skyecho 2 ?
Have people been doing this with success? Or is it easier to stick with a phone or iPad to display other traffic?
