MY MX1 running ver 9 LS firmware has several issues. One of which is a serious problem the others just odd or nuisance. Can you help?

1. Main issue: iEFIS Extender and MX1 does not talk over RS232 but will communicate over CAN bus (set up temporally as test). It's wired, verified several times, as MX1_RX4->Extender_TX1, and MX1_TX4->Extender_RX1. I need the Extender for my Trims and Flaps positions.

2. Nuisance issue: I've made several INFO pages to work as a checklist on Page5 which is selected as the start-up page.. The simulator behaves in what I believe to be the correct manor, in that when the MX1 is powered up I get Page5-INFOA. But the actual MX1 starts up into Page5-INFO(last). Meaning it starts up to the last Info page that had been opened. So If I shut off the power while viewing the "Secure & Tie down" INFO page that is what I'll see next time it starts up (instead of the Pre-Flight INFO page).

3. W/B issue: The W/B in both the simulator and the real MX1 gives three numeric solutions. White - Empty WT/CG I believe, Red - Zero Fuel/CG, Green - actual configured solution. Problem is, they all show the exact same data (Actual configured solution) but should be quite different since they are at different weights & moments.

3a. W/B issue: W/B shows as Page20. If I turn the page knob while in W/B to a different page, much of the W/B text and other item remain on top of the other pages until I click the [X]. It's an easy work around to just be sure to [X] out each time but just weird behavior.

4. Oil Pressure in in 1/10's of psi. I see no reason to display, for example, 38.2 psi instead of 38 psi. Especially with the OT right next to it not showing up like this.

Q. Is there a Thread or other location to share custom built screens? I'd be happy to share mine as well as look at other folks work.

Sorry to ask an obvious question but have you enabled the Extender in the set up screen?

I don’t think there’s any way of getting round No.2. Mine does exactly the same. My default start page is page 6 and this works every time but the Info page will be where I left it and I can’t see any option to change it to display Info 1 when the EFIS starts up. To be honest, it’s not a big deal to me. If there was an option I would use it but pressing the advance arrow once or twice doesn’t trouble me.

Don't be sorry, one can't assume to know the competence of a stranger. Yes I did Enable the Extender.

re: No.2, it's interesting that the simulator always starts with 'Info A' and not the 'Info Last'.

MichiganAvionics answered my #2 issue in a PM. Here is what they had to say...

The MX1 is designed to start on whatever info page was left off of. This would not be true if the internal keep-alive battery was discharged or the keep-alive wire lost power. The simulator does not "keep-alive" on the computer, thus the page reset when the simulator restarts.
