SP-7 LED

I noticed today that my SP-6 has a blinking green LED and the SP-7 has a blinking red LED. Is this normal?

Yes.
Varies a bit with what year the products where made - we changed to green LEDs some time ago.

I bought both of these in 2020, so your saying the SP7 is an older model? (with red LED) ,How old would it be ?
