I'm cannot calibrate my touchscreen on the Challenger. there is no menu item that I can find and referenced in the installation manual. And none of the rotary knobs have push detents to hold down while powering on as referenced in the installation manual. So what give here. How do I get into the calibrate screen?

Push the rotary control in towards the panel - you will notice a distinct "click".

Newer models have a capacitive touch screen that does not have or need calibration so if you have one of those there will not be any touch screen calibration menu items.

But that was one of the main selling points. The video shows you have to push like a button. Mine is way too sensitive. Haven't flown with it yet but I can tell It's going to be hard not to touch something else. Ya'll (yes I'm a Texan) need some updated info on your products. At least you solved that delima for me. Thanks for the reply. Now I can move on to the next problem.

Yes it was - but sadly these touch panels are no longer made. They where mode by Kyocera - they then decided to farm this out to a third party and that worked for a while but then the cadmium coated glass was no longer obtainable and that stopped.
So we were forced to go with capacitive screens like everybody else...
But these are custom made for us and are pretty decent - we find they work well - there is some software that tries to detect false presses which tend to be brief - you will find we can emulate a proper push detection fairly well.
As an advantage the capacitive panels seem to be more robust - the glass/glass pressure touch panels had one issue - if you pressed with more than about 2Kg of force (like trying to activate something that was not going to activate and you push harder) you could end up squashing the tiny spacer dots between the two layers and that leaves a dead spot.

Hola, en ese caso deberían actualizar los manuales ya que yo renege bastante con ese tema ,y a mi también me parece demasiado sensible.
