Fuel pressure

Post by griffinfly »

I've installed a new Rdac on my Waiex with an Aerovee engine. Everything works except the fuel flow and fuel pressure. These two read outs did work properly before replacing the Rdac showing 3.9 fuel pressure with around 1 gallon per hour at idle. Now with the new Rdac it's only showing 1.1 fuel pressure showing 10 per hour at idle. The fuel flow transducer that has been on the Waiex is a Flowscan 201.
It's wired the same but now I question is the flowscan I'm using compatible with the new Rdac or is it connected differently.
My email is griffinve@gmail.com if anyone has a possible solution to my issue. Thank You Bobby

Re your fuel pressure- make sure you have the fuel pressure pull-up and pull-down switches set correctly for your fuel sensor.
Older automotive 'can' style resistive sensors- PU ON, PD OFF.
Newer 912 4-20mA style sensors- PU OFF, PD ON.
UMA style 0-5V active sensors- PU OFF, PD OFF.
