I made an interesting observation by bringing an independent handheld radio into the cock pit the handheld will start to hiss when brought near the EFIS lite. (within half a meter or so) remove and the hissing stops. This appears not to be frequency-related as the handheld gets angry with any set frequency. There appears to be no adverse effect on any of the systems installed, including the V16 radio ??
Does anybody know what might be causing this and how would I suppress this ?
