EGT CHT Scan and inaccuracies

Post by ltoth »

On my Sonex AeroVee the RADC is CAN linked to a Discovery Lite, and the 4 EGT probes are K type wired to TC 1-4 while the CHT probes are wired to TC 5-8 per the RDAC manual. Problem is that one or two EGT or CHT readings are always displayed too high with using the recommended Scan 1 for EGT and Scan 2 for CHT. Changing the Scan que results in a different probe (EGT or CHT) showing error so it is improbable that the probes are erroneous. I've also tried various dip switch positions without success. The only dip switch position I have not tried is RDAC SEL switches which are normally off. Any suggestions on how to get the error out of the display?
