Xtreme EFIS - GPS SD Card

Post by dieuvolkanos »

Hi,

How the GPS part works for Canada? Here the step that I try:

I downloaded the file on this website: http://www.navaid.com/GPX/
-Check North West
-Click second stage
-Uncheck all country
-Check Ontario and Quebec
-Click Third Stage
-Any option modified (by default)
-Click Start Generating
-There are 925 waypoints in the generated file.
-b15dc7e0.gpx file downloaded

In the MGL Central version 2.1 in Windows 10
Click Import Waypoints/Navaids/Airport from GPX (obtain from www.navaid.com)
Click on the b15dc7e0.gpx file
Add new information to existing, replace existing with current

Database exports/Create single Navidata file
Here the output:

Code: Select all

Joining Waypoint and fixes tables
Exporting Waypoint table and airports
In region: 794, Not in region: 0
Exported 794 waypoints, of which 397 are airports
Exporting airspaces
Processing airspace Tile: 17/35
In region: 0, not in region: 0, Mem: 0
Exported 0 airspaces
Exporting waypoints
Exported 0 obstacles.
Warning: No obstacles have been exported
Task completed
Created NAVIDATA.EVD file in
C:\Users\satan\AppData\Roaming\MGL\MGL Central\Export\
Navidata file is used in Enigma 1.1.0.0 and higher and
Odyssey 0.1.1.0 and higher.
Navidata.ewd is created and added to the sdcard (in the root).

Put the sdcard in the MGL and any waypoing in the display.

Maybe the file system? FAT32 or NTFS?
Max sd card capacity?
Probably, I forgot something or the MGL Central Version doesn't work properly in windows 10 (administrator mode)?

Thanks
Tommy

Navidata.ewd in root file (i.e. not in a folder). FAT16 or FAT32 file system.
