Hi everybody!
I need to add a mode S transponder to my system.
iBox is capable to serve as an altitude encoder for transponder.
As I understand it is easy to connect Garmin GTX330.
But used Garmin GTX 33 costs just $200 on Ebay.
It is a remote installation unit, usually controlled via Garmin 1000 panel.
It is equipped with ARINC 429 inputs and RS232 inputs.
Any idea, is it ever possible to connect and control this unit with iBox and Challenger 10?
Any help will be greatly appreciated

Re: Garmin GTX33 connect to iBox with Challenger 10
Protocols and other required interfacing information are not known.
Garmin is not providing this information so I am afraid it cannot be used with our systems.

Thank you for your help!
I guess iBox should work with a Garmin GTX330 as an altitude encoder, right?
