Started using the flight data option on my Odyssey EFIS G2 level and cannot locate the Black Box Software to extract the data from the Enigma.rec file created. The only reference in the BBV manual is to find it on the old MGL user site which is gone. The IEFIS version of the BBV does not work with the Odyssey EFIS G2 at this time. Any leads to where to get this software appreciated.

Alain,
Thank you very much. I went to that page but missed the black box software for enigma ( on-iEFIS version).
Much appreciated,
Russ

You might want to also take a look at 'jasflyer.com'. It's a pay program but does amazing things with the data. Search "flight data viewer" in youtube for some great demos.

Black Box Viewer software Replay
AS part of the HUD software we have been working on using a Raspberry Pi the software can now realtime record the Black Box data stream (while the HUD display is fully operating) and later we can play the data back through the RaspberryPi post flight onto a regular computer monitor as shown below, or in a Text mode where you can view the Raw data parameters as they are played back (Sorry about the poor picture quality but this Forum SW only allowed a reduced 300/220 Pixel version of a 1500/1100 pixel screen shot). The RaspberryPi HUD program can self playback the BlackBox data, or as I often do I play it back through a RS232 Terminal program so it comes back through the RS232 input into the Pi computer the same as if we were flying. We use this playback to support our Software development. The software can either store it on the RaspberryPi's MicroSD memory card, or if a USB memory stick is connected it will store the data onto the memory stick. You can turn the Data Store function On & Off using a small but standard PC type USB keypad connected to the Pi. Since the Software is available free through our project it can be modified to do many other Realtime or post flight functions to manipulate and display/process the BlackBox Data.
