Good day to all.
Just a question regarding the use of a SP-6 magnetometer/electronic compass with the iEFIS MX1.
1) Is there a additional advantage by adding the SP-6 magnetometer/electronic compass.
2) If so what is the advantages of adding the SP-6
3) How do I wire it to the MX1 and where do I configure it then, to get the advantage the SP-6.
I ask this because I have a spare SP-6. That is not in use. Also with additional compatable stand alone NMEA GPS.

Depending on the type of aircraft and the country you are opening in, The SP-6 would fulfill the requirement for the Magnetic Direction-Indicator.
Even for VFR Day flight, CFR 91-205(b)(3) mandates it in the US.
The EFIS does not have a magnetic heading sensor.
