I connect my V16 to ibox r232 port 3, get a red X on the display for com. Tried reversing port 3 wires then the com grayed out.
Any suggestions? I am also using a Razor for the com.

Select MGL COM1 radio for your chosen serial port in serial port setup and routing.
Enable COM1 in Equipment enables setup menu.
exit menus, (to save settings) - restart - so COM ports get started in the new setting.
No gray cross possible - either red or no cross.
If you have V16 RS232 port 1 TX line connected to RX of your chosen EFIS port - the red cross goes away as it is receiving data. You can't change frequencies or do anything else until your EFIS chosen port TX line connects to the V16 RS232 port 1 RX line.
That's it.
