Hi
Prior to upgrading my iEFIS from G2 to G3 (and losing basically my entire setup - my fault), One of the buttons on my stick used to disconnect the autopilot. Currently I have four buttons on the stick - 2 for up and down trim and two which do nothing.
I've looked through the digital IO stuff but I cannot figure out how to re-enable this function. Is anyone able to provide some guidance in this respect? I think I am correct if I say it has to be set up in the digital Input section. Because it worked before, I assume the wiring is correct.
How do I figure out which input channel is activated by the button?
Also, there is no AP disconnect function - i assume that selecting any of the Autopilot functions will disengage the autopilot if it is currently engaged?
