Tried to use the Xtreme Data Viewer XTDV v2.0 and can't get it to work.
Throws an "invalid floating point operation" during the file load, then says its loaded, then shows nothing but one red line (the same one as when it first starts.
I load a second time and don't get the error, but it still shows nothing.
I attempt to resize the window, and again get the invalid floating point exception.
I have attached one of the files that causes the exception

Re: Xtreme EMS Data View Fails
NOTE: the same file loads successfully in Excel and a quick glance doesn't show any invalid data
Re: Xtreme EMS Data View Fails
You might try "Flight Data Viewer" it's a more capable program.
BTW - Does the GPS satelite 'constelation' and 'signal strenth' work on your Xtreme? I just installed one and while the GPS does work, the right half of the GPS screen is always blank. I've not yet flown, so haven't been able to try out the saved data.

Re: Xtreme EMS Data View Fails
Thanks for the feedback and suggestion.
But why should I have to pay for a viewer, when the product is supposed to supply one for free.
Very disappointed MGL themselves don't seem to care or want to answer questions

Hi Kabong,
Make sure you are using Version 2.00 of the data viewer. Also uncheck all parameter boxes before loading the file. I checked on my side and all working correctly.
Regards,
Franz

Re: Xtreme EMS Data View Fails
Thanks,
Turning off all checkboxes worked for the loading.
By the way.
QNH is the checkbox causing the floating point error.
Once selected, the error occurs, then ALL checkboxes fail to work, and the selected value cannot be changed.
You have to exit and reload the app to make it work.
Should eb a quick fix to the app.
